That's what I paid for mine. I very nearly put that £30k down as 10% deposit on a F50, but decided it was too risky. Second worst financial disaster after selling my bitcoin mining rig in 2012 as it used too much electricity.

Surely the person who bought it some combination of crazy rich and or stupid?

You can pick up an 355 for about £70k fairly easily. Add some glass and brackets and some engine cleaner.

Breaking the rest of an 355 would net you a LOT more than £20k... wink

That’s a tough one.
I also looked at F50s when they were 450k euros and thought - nah you’d need to finance that. Make more money and then you can get one for cash eventually when you sell your cheaper car … and I did think about bitcoin at about the same time and was too lazy to figure out how to buy / wallet etc.
I sold my 355 for 27k ….
