Kitchen design question

I'm putting an undercounter integrated freezer which has the door attached to the unit as opposed to the sliding hinge mechanism. Next to that I'd like to put a freestanding wine fridge. Do I or should I put an end panel between them? Is it needed. Space is tight so ideally im hoping not!

Plans would help, I can't see what's on the other side of the wine fridge.

Do you honestly need a wine fridge if you are limited on space?

Your worktop span is going to be quite significant without support. That may be an issue?

Personally I think it’ll feel a bit gash and half-arsed, even if it works. I think mine is actually fastened to the units either side as well and it has plastic sealing strips as finishers.

How wide is the wine fridge?

Howdens do metal support bars for placing on top of carcasses to carry worktops up to 1000mm, so as long as your wine fridge is up to 400mm wide you could use a bar.

It doesn’t need a BEP next to the fridge as the fridge is integrated and you usually wouldn’t put one there but the worktop regardless of what it’s made from would need a support bar. Any metal workshop could construct such a thing if it’s an odd size overall, then just rattle can it a colour. It isn’t seen anyway.

Wine fridge is 15cm. Don't really need it but have about 15cm spare so I thought why not.

We have a draw unit next to a wine fridge, no need for an end panel.
If your fridge is 15cm wide, no need to worry about the worktop span I’d have thought.
Plus it might look a bit “busy” with end panel-fridge-end panel in quick succession.

I had to fit two end panels to allow a 400mm integrated wine fridge door to fully open.

Get hands on with one and check.
