EDIT: Errrr.... Don't read this if you don't want to find out what happens in the film

Just back from seeing History of Violence. Don't, on pain of death, see it. Worst acting ever by unknowns. Stupid story line.

He is a former mafia killer. Creates a new life in the country. Gets found. He goes back and kills his mobster brother. He returns to his new family. The end. As I said, pure and utter .

Worst Film Ever?? I give you Bridget Jones 2!
Dragged along to the cinema by the g/f and fell asleep 3 times during the film. Never been forgiven for that!

Unknowns??
Ed Harris, William Hurt, Viggo Morteson? not exactly unknowns. Suprised me that it would have such a crap rating.

Did'nt recognise him. He was indeed great in LOTR, but he seems to have had a drastic drop in form here.

Who died after approx 15 minutes screen time.

The kids couldn't act. They had insinceer(sp?) sincerity. They're serious moments were laughable. And then the film just ended after going home to his wife, sitting down at the dinner table and neither of them saying a word? Oh it's ok honney, you're an ex mafia killer, thats ok honneybunch?????

Stupid.

Anchorman, Independence day? I liked those, has that just blown my arguement out of the water?

Dune was brilliant...
Star trek:The Motion picture is still one of the best sci-fi's in my opinion... It got away from the wobbly sets, and cheesy storylines, and had a solid story behind it. IMHO of course...

If anyones interested, Serenity wasn't too bad, a bit like a TV movie for SFX, but still good fun.
One of the worst films I have seen of late is Cabin Fever, it's just gross for the sake of it, not nice!

Dont tell Eric Mc?

Why not?

I doubt I'll be lining up to watch this.

"Plan 9 from Outer Space" is often cited as the worst Hollywood film ever, although I think it eventually achieved a cult status of its own.

How about "The Golden Child"?

The one movie I ALMOST walked out of the cinema on.

Having watched "Pushing Tin" with Billy Bob Thonton, a really good film, I saw another film coming up on TV directed by "Billy Bob Thornton" called "All the Grey Horses".

Must be good I thought, turned out to be the worst film I have ever watched, turned it off half way through, complete let down..........

Anything with Bill Murray in it, over the last few years. Lost in translation made my toes curl and Life Aquatic made me laugh in that 'I think I'd prefer to eat my own face' way.

I watched "Pushing Tin" (on TV) for about 10 minutes and decided it was pretty dire.

I've always had a very low opinion of virually all Bill Murray films - with the noteable exception of "Groundhog Day".
