599 Water Radiator Duct
Discussion
I removed front undertray to check for any fluid leaks and to give car a good clean whilst it was on the ramp. The bottom section of the radiator duct came adrift and on checking the top section was also not fixed to the top mounting points of the radiator.
The radiator duct has split in 2 at the narrowest side points. Seems a common issue when you look at the few second user parts available.
I can fashion a reinforced aluminium plate, pop rivets and correct PP epoxy glue to join the top to the bottom. My question is how easy is this to refit to car? It is a big unwieldy item that looks difficult to manoeuvre into position. Would it be easier to refit as 2 separate parts?

It came off in 2 parts, fixings to top of radiator broken and same to bottom of rad. Easier access now that grill is removed (doesn't attach to front under tray)
I'll fix the mounting points then see if possible to fit as a complete unit if not I'll install in 2 parts and see if possible to plastic weld or aluminium plate/bond the side plates. Will take pics tomorrow.
