Thinking of fitting one to my S2 Exige along with my already fitted Stage 1 Exhaust Questions are,

1)Is there any power gain?.
2)Can I fit it myself with a moderate spannering ability?.
3)Is it much louder?.
4)Should I bother?.
5) If I do what sort is best and from where.

cheers and thanks in advance.

I have the ITG on my Exige.

Probably get a few extra BHP but it improves throttle response and sounds fantastic in the cabin.

I have recently had to take my Stage 2 exhaust off and put the standard one back on for a track day and it sounds fantastic inside on second cam.

ITG is generally considered the best but Pipercross is also quite popular and a bit cheaper.

Hangar111.com sell ITG's (not sure about Pipercross though)

I have the ITG on 111s.. Make's a nice sound, not to loud and its only really heard in the cabin unless roof off. Looked a bit to fiddly to fit myself.. Not to sure about a BHP increase but as it sounds so good dont feel to bad thrasing engine so who knows..

Another question to throw in, is regarding the fuel consumption.
Not too bothered around town by this,it has been said before, we don`t buy these cars for their staggering mpg, that said, my 111r returns excellent figs (STAGE 2 FITTED).
My only concern would be the mpg on a long motorway run. Has anybody noticed a mark difference in their fuel consumption with itg fitted ?

No mine is still very economical, I only have a short traffic clogged journey and still get good MPG. Recent long runs 240 miles on a full tank (refilled when fuel light on)..

After reading a lot about exhaust and induction, I will move to the ITG. (improve sound quality into the car and slighlty increase bhp)
I still have one question:
How is it outside? Is it possible to recognise as pedestran a 111R with/without the ITG, on 1st came and on 2nd came??
Don't know about consumption but last track day with standard car was 15 mpg
