I'm considering these three to replace my 2006 Panasonic Viera with Chromecast that's on the blink.

I don't have an aerial and won't be fitting one, but have a network socket at the TV with full fibre/500gb. Will these three TVs work only streaming via internet?

The Sony is the expensive but quality option, with John Lewis warranty too.

The C6K mini led seems the better one..?

I'm only looking at (ideally) 43" or 50" TV.

The TCLs might give you more toys and a later generation screen technology, but the Sony is the one that's going to use better quality parts and have superior picture processing. Having said that, the TCL P7K panel is hands-down better for black level, brightness uniformity, and colour accuracy.

TCL's C6K is, TTBOMK, a miniLED set. It's the sort of panel that makes bright content look very good, but it struggles with dark content. You have a TV that is perfect for the estate agent's shop window, but not so good if you want to watch movies at home.

Maybe with the safety net of the JL 5-year warranty and the mindset that TV tech is going to advance far enough in five years that you'll want to upgrade anyway, the TCL P7K is worth the gamble.

Thank you, that's really helpful.

Can they run only off internet connection?
