Singapore changing money recommendations?

The MRT has Tourist travel cards that might be worthwhile for you during your stay if you plan to explore Singapore during your stay:

Side note that is no bother to you, annoyingly the EZ Link card expires after 5 years, forcing you to by another, as it is a standard RFID card, they don't wear out. I have a 17 years old Oyster card that still works, well it did when I checked how much money was on it a few years ago at least!
Credit cards work on the MRT, you used to have to register your card when they first allowed it years ago, but they have fix that so you don't have to.
I haven't visited Singapore for a few years, used to at least once or twice a year, but I only really needed to use cash at some of the stalls at the Hawker Centre in burbs, which no tourists venture to, as I always hole up at a mates house and it is the local one we visit, and it does epic Satay sticks I crave for whenever I am there.

Been to Singapore about a dozen times with work over the last couple of years (plus once on holiday as where else does my other half want to go to when she's deciding the destination) - I didn't take any cash at all - everywhere takes cards, including hawkers (that I went to in two different markets) and the excellent transport system you can just tap in and out of in the same was as you can on the underground.
Oddly the only thing you may need to be careful with are taxis - a few are still cash only - easy to check at the airport (the guy who guides you to the next taxi will ask you) - but make sure to check elsewhere - or even better, outside the airport download the CDG Zig app (Singapore Uber)
