Remapping With Locked ECU

My B57 530d (2018) ECU is locked (presumably after a software update I had a couple of years ago when I added car play). I was told it can’t be remapped unless the ECU is sent off to Finland (which takes over a week). Are there any alternatives to a way around unlocking and allowing it to be remapped?

Is JB4 an option for BMW diesels?

If your ECU has truly been locked via a dealer update then currently I think the only way to unlock and allow direct remapping is to physically send it to FEMTO.
