Can anyone suggest a decent external paint for an Accoya Wood window? It has to be paint, not varnish, stains, etc.
I understand it has to be water based, but google throws up all kinds of vauge, spurious solutions.

What have you used on your Accoya window external side?

As long as it's microporous you'll be fine (even oil based).

Technos Aquatop is water based and very durable.

My windows haven't been touched in 16 years.

Teknos Aquatop 2600 is for spray use only - likely where your windows were painted, in a factory. It doesn't brush very well.

They used to offer a brushing formula but it'll be hard to get hold of.
