Off to Seville for four days in May. Probably want to stay Old Town/ walking distance from most stuff.

Comfortable room, probably breakfast included and a bar would be OK. £150ish per night.

Thanks!

Mrs NDA and I are thinking of a weekend in Seville as we've never been.

Can't remember where we stayed a few years back, but if you're in Seville try and get to the flamenco show at the Triana food market.

A tiny little theatre holding a maximum of 15 people where you'll see a mindblowing little show. We walked out shellshocked and speechless. thumbup

No we haven’t either but managed to get a return flight for £90 so thought we’d give it a go.

quite a few years ago(2015) now but I stayed here:

https://www.eurostarshotels.co.uk/eurostars-regina...

I quite like the brand and usually book direct.

I walked from the station (train from Malaga) and enjoyed 3 nights in Seville.

This hotel was located in a quant little street in quite a historic area.

I don't remember much outstandingly good or bad about it so must have been fine!
I quite liked Seville.

We stayed at the Hotel Rey Alfonso X back in March. 25 minute taxi from the airport, the next time we didn’t walk was the taxi back to the airport three days later. Cost €375 for two adults for three nights. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here last year:
Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza.
Very friendly and helpful staff and we walked everywhere.

Second thoughts, we’ve booked it as it was one of the ones my wife had book marked and it was cheaper booking direct with the hotel. Cheers

Nice one, quite jealous of your trip now! We went through Booking.com. One thing I can t tell you about is the food at the hotel as we ate out for each meal, including restaurants both beside and directly opposite the hotel. The rooftop bar s good for views around the city, but it was miles too bloody cold (especially in the evenings) to try the outdoor pool! Enjoy!

If you like boutique hotels we liked it here for a Mon-Fri stay in March a few years ago. https://www.elreymoro.com/index.php/en/

Right in the old town, surrounded by restaurants.

Sorry, just noticed it's a bit over budget in May, very nice though.

Take a look at Hotel Lobby..very quirky and well located for walking to everything. Great rooftop terrace overlooking the river, great for sunset drinks.

Hotel Casa 1800

Boutique hotel, no restaurant or bar, but you won t need one, it s just off the busiest strip by the cathedral with great bars and all styles of local restaurant on the doorstep

You ll want a taxi to take you there, no space for hire cars

We got stranded for an extra day, as BA cancelled our return flight - but they moved us to a large suite at half the price of our weekend room

Stay in the Old Town. We’ve been a few times, it’s a really nice, laid back place. It was remarkably inexpensive, though that may have changed over the last few years.
We’ve stayed at The Lobby, The Inglaterra and The Intelier Casa de Indias. They can all be booked direct cheaper than going through booking or trivago.

We stayed here in June last year, pool on the roof was great, easy to get around, cheap uber to the airport, loved it

When we were there in March evening temperatures were barely into double figures so we thought bugger the pool! Rooftop bar was good though.

I stayed at the abba Sevilla in 2024 (solo trip) and then again last year with 8 friends - they all liked it. Sometimes the service in the rooftop bar is a bit patchy but there are plenty of places nearby to have a drink instead.

It’s about as close to Las Setas as you can get and has some very nice views.

Probably just about in budget for May.

It’s worth remembering that May is about peak season in Seville. Summer is just too hot for most people. We drove up 2-years ago mid-March and it was 26C then.

I was in that hotel in October, loved it. Not that expensive, walking distance to the Cathedral, weather was great and use of the rooftop pool was made.
