Seat Leon 1.2 tsi 2014

My son has a Seat Leon it’s been really good has now done 80k and all of a sudden started using oil around a litre every 700 miles I know the earlier engine had this issue but this is the later engine no leaks or smoke no oil in turbo changed breather valve . Should I do an oil and filter change? and should I add an additive like stp would this help.

Any advise appreciated
