Car damaged in car park, what should I use?

My car was hit in a car park yesterday, it looks like I have a fair bit of black Land Rover paint to remove, what’s the best way to go about cleaning it off?
I’ve got a small 3” buffer but never used it on a car or foam pads before.
I’ve probably got T cut in the garage or is there a better solution?

Try a clay bar first with some diluted washing up liquid- you might be pleasantly surprised how much comes off without any aggressive products. The T-Cut will likely handle whatever's left. Save the buffer for another day when you can practice on a less visible area first.

Mate, that will come off no problem.
Get some panel wipe or some alcohol wipe and a big bag of elbow grease. The majority of that will come off with panel wipe and an old rag.
Then get a coarse foam pad for your 3" buffer and absolutely any cheap cutting compound and whizz the rest off. Low speed, put some pressure on it and move it around. You can then use a thinner polishing compound if you want it to be shinier when the paint transfer is off.
I wouldn't use T-cut nowadays, its a very coarse compound, it would certainly work but you would then spend a load more time trying to remove the T-cut, any cheap modern day cutting compound is a better shout and less work for you. T-cut will work if that's what you've got, its just you will have to use the panel wipe to then remove the T-cut residue and likely then give it a polish.
