What is the most interesting problem have you solved via the net?

I have (In reverse order): found out what to do if your dog is stung by a wasp, how to replace the boot release cable on an Elise and met and married a woman (not sure that is a problem per se), oh and bought a church bell.

ditto the cavalier fault codes. Havve found how to clear block paving of weeds, how to mend my front door (only just), and bought and sold all sorts of old bobbins from various places. The cavalier one did save me a fortune though. £90 diagnostic tests versus price of a paper clip, result!!

I reckon that applies to most forums.

The internet has fixed three telly problems and one central heating so far , and a few car related stuff.

EDIT - that's not particularly interesting though

Replace brake pads

Various legal issues surrounding property

Various legal issue surrounding driving / speeding etc

Various computer and technical issues outside of my technical field

Troubleshooting central heating systems

Advice on how to deal with various medical / ergonomic problems

Despite a couple of negative comments on posting the required posts to get the information, it has proved invaluable and in return I have helped a few people myself.

to the PH community and may it continue

Precisely what I did last night!

Couldn't understand the boiler instructions and turned to the web!

Hot water was restored at approx 12.30am last night - the family all arrived at 11am this morning

Bought my best mini ever. Problem was that I couldn't find a decent Mk1 with a good shell, that was on PH.

Solved the biggest "real life soap opera" moral dilemma that anyone could possibly have, thanks to fellow PH'ers.

I'll tell the story one day and it is very funny and I am probably very stupid. But, things we do for a good yarn, eh?
