Toying with buying one but I'm getting silly quotes for insurance.

My current company, Aviva, was £400 fully comp for my Alpine but they won't quote on the Lotus.

Cheapest never heard of company on Meerkats want £600 and it swiftly goes up to the first company that I have heard of, at £1200.

63, driving since 18, full no claims, no convictions, Twickenham, parked outside, no commuting, £1000 excess, 6000 miles a year, just like my Alpine.

This was on a SH V6 manual £65,000.

Is this to be expected smile

Admiral multicar for me. Not sure exact premium but well under £300 inc business use. Was slightly cheaper than my Alpine. Surprised at the variance to the Alpine if all other things equal.

Same but mine was nearer £500+. Partly as I live close to a town centre but given that my Evora S was £330 full comp about 10 years ago, it's not to bad.

Should be possible to get a competitive Admiral quote. For context, my Exige is £370 on multicar. The Noble is only £160.
