Ive a mate who reckons these are well underpriced . In comparison to the saloons they were certainly rare in period and also
some wonderful colours from Ford back then this of course being one of them . These wheels were also fitted to the Mk2 Granada GL though I don't remember them on this Mk1 Ghia Coupe , I don't believe them to ever have been a Ghia spec wheel

Like the 928 and the Merc if it still has any floors but that 535 will be hard to enjoy on wet UK roads.

I do have a 40 year old plus car . 1984 Lotus Excel.
I have read a fair bit on some sort of road tax coming back . There is also a discussion on here somewhere about MOT's too.

I love looking at cheap exotica , even as a lad 50 years ago I was just the same . I have fond memories of being stood in a Glasgow West End garage trying to persuade the old man into a sixties Quattroporte . "Its got a lot more room than the Dolomite Dad".biglaugh

I'm not sure if I'd want to take on a Stag at that price point.
You may get a reasonable P5 or SD1.
