Well i have owned the car for a week so far, Have made a BIG list of TO DO ITEMS. got a lot done cleaning interior, seat, dash, carpets etc. Engine, Chassis etc are all good & tidy, Previous owner did Trailing arms etc. First Question. Do i have to remove the Whole dash to change the Gear knob Gater? I have the all in one type from centre consol to screen.
I wont ask about Swirl tank & chassis stripping for painting as i have searched & read just about every link you can think of available! And mine doesnt seem to overheat one bit.

Gaiter.....With any luck you won't have to go that far.
At the back of the tunnel cover, on either side on the down-stand bit is a screw with a plastic cover on it. Lever off the cover and remove to pozi drive self tap screws, The unit should then lift up from the back and hinge just enough to access the gaiter. They are all different so Good Luck
