Does anyone know if you can link to other pictures and actually display them on ebay?

I need to put up about 10 adverts, and don't want to be paying their extorsionate prices for adding photos, so if I use for example photobucket can I link to them like you can do on PH with the [ pic ] tags?

you could, but it would get hammered for bandwidth. i dunno if photobucket would stay up for long enough.

one thing you could do, is upload the photo's to a personal website (i'm pretty sure all broadband suppliers throw some web space in) and then link to them

Can't you put the pictures into a single 'montage' ?

Edit...because getting 9 words in the right order is just too tricky.

I think you'll find eBay don't like outside links in their adverts and may well throw the ad out.

Mind you I did it once by using 'ww' instead of 'www' in an attenmpt to dodge their spybots, and it was OK.

It's fine I do this all the time and I've never had a listing removed because of this... you can't use the [pic] tags though.. you will just have to do it using standard HTML..

It's a ton cheaper than eBay's hosting prices..!

Ditto to Uncle Dave.

Been doing it for years - standard HTML, hosted on kinky.com - never been a worry.

Done, all ads listed with montages.

I can do a bit of basic HTML coding, but thats where it ends. I'd probably mess it up and it'd take a lot longer than just doing a montage on photoshop. Thanks for the idea though, will keep that in mind for future listings.
