Hi guys,

Here is a 2-part video. The first part is a strange noise occurred while I was driving. Until then I've had no issues with the car. A few minutes later the car stalled while I was driving and I lost power-steering etc and free-wheels to a safe place. The second part of the video is when the AA mechanic attempts to start the car but it makes a noise and stalls.

My fear is IMS or timing chain.

It will be booked in for diagnosis but because it's so close to Christmas I won't get booked in anytime soon so I thought I'd try to get an idea from others while I wait.

Scan it for codes. Check camshaft deviation.

Failing Crank position sensor can leave no codes and make it sound like that, failed coil pack, was it damp out? Loads of things.

I wouldn't panic just yet.
