GT3 Buckets

Being a larger than than average chap (6ft 3, 19 1/2 stone) and build like a rugby player the buckets on the 992.1 were always a little too snug (tight) for me. Mainly around the thigh area (mine are pretty big.

| see that the 992.2 buckets are different.

Is this just asthetics or are they any bigger?

I think they are actually tighter. I've had a.1 with 918 buckets and I sat in the new ones a few weeks back and they 100% felt tighter

To add to this, they felt more snug around the shoulders / upper torso for me. I think best thing to do is find a car with them that is close to you and give the seats a go. Weirdly I feel they look bigger than the 918 buckets but did not feel like that at all.

Was always my intention, due to not being much of a track day driver.

The new seats are definitely narrower and I think the belt buckle is lower in the seat aperture.
Quite often I manage to push it down / forward when getting in maker it a right faff plugging the belt in!!

The 18 ways are far more comfortable if you are not tracking a lot.
