Can anyone identify this car from a really terrible CCTV image please? It was involved in a burglary at mine and I'm struggling to identify it. It's a 5 door hatch//estate/small SUV type vehicle. The tailgate is open in this image so the tail lights are partially in the tailgate. It also has good sized rear windows behind the rear doors. I'm hoping someone might recognise the foglight in the front bumper? Clutching at straws!

Having just been outside to check, the headlight shape and partial tail light cluster in the boot hatch itself, it does look remarkably similar to the wife’s Model Y

Hopefully this link to a video clip works?

Easier to see the shape of the car as it arrives and leaves

Could you go back through CCTV during the day and look for a similar vehicle? They may have scoped it out and came back when it's dark

I think it could be a Suzuki Grand Vitara based on the shape of the foglight housing and the bumper design next to it. I'm not 1000% sure but its my best guess.

My feeling is that it’s a Toyota Rav 4 of around 2015 vintage.

Any neighbours? If there are neighbours are they likely to have CCTV or Ring video doorbells that may have footage of the car?

From the rear 1/4 window when it drives away it looks like a RAV4 of 2015 vintage as someone mentioned above. My other thought was maybe an Outlander of similar vintage?.

One other thing I took away from the clip is that it looks like it may have an electric tailgate (does a RAV4 have electric tailgate?) - one of the scumbags pulls it down but it noticeably slows up about a 1/3 of the way down which is typical of the electric motor taking over from the initial human force.

Thanks for all the input so far.

My initial thought was XC60 because of the headlights but I think it's misleading. The front foglight and grille certainly look like Ford Kuga to me but I'm not convinced the rear window shape is correct. It's favourite so far in my eyes.

I'm still waiting to hear back from a few properties in neighbouring streets to see whether I can get any more footage of the people or the car. Frustratingly there are several perfectly placed cameras at three different properties but none are currently working.

Toyota Rav4 from 2015 >.

Front number plate always looked a little low on them I thought, lower than a Ford Kuga for example.

The rear 1/4 when you see it drive off confirms that

I managed to get some more footage from someone on a neighbouring street capturing the thieves leaving. The car in question is without doubt a second generation Hyundai Santa Fe. I believe with facelift rear lights which would put it in the 2010-2012 age bracket.
