I wonder how this one will go. Will the game be rescheduled or will both teams pull out of the upcoming world cup??

The football federation in Egypt said in a statement that it had written to FIFA "categorically rejecting any activities related to supporting homosexuality during the match between the Egyptian national team and Iran."
During the match might be a bit much. smile

What, you mean things like camp overexaggeration of "fouls" rolling around on the floor and running around hugging each other. That sort of thing? biggrin

Can't see them getting too far with this one.

When in Rome and all that and it's not like the two events are related.

The fact that the game (drawn randomly) between two Islamic states is taking place during Seattle pride in Seattle, is purely a circumstance of coincidence and nothing more

For the local authorities to try and use the game to highlight gay rights is perhaps OTT

The teams involved are there to play football not become a political football
