Leven-Type hood/half cover wanted

I'm about to get into Chimaera ownership, and would like to obtain a Leven -style half/hood cover. I understand Amore did a replica, and that an MX5 one may be suitable.

Due to their rarity I’d suggest any current owners (those still with their vehicles at any rate) are going to be reluctant to let them go.

In your position earlier this year I rang around all the usual suspects before (extremely) fortunately speaking to the Guys at Amore who happened to have one left, not advertised.

If you haven’t tried this approach it might be worth looking into?

This company do them, Griffith / Chimaera should be a similar fit, although I didn't get one in the end, so can't vouch for them.

I found out that the ones for 986 Boxsters are quite a good fit although I had to shorten the elastic at the rear. Mine is tattered now and I do without.
