Wife and I went there for a few days as part of a 3 week tour of hawaii back in 23. Was incredible experience.
The fountain currently spraying is half a kilometer high and spraying over a range of 3 kilometres. The scale of the place is hard to phathom.
The untapped power of the volcano even when mostly dormant was humbling.
Proper bucket list experience. But kilueua has let of 30+ eruptions like this so far in 25.
You never know which one is gonna be a monster.
