The wheels on my 1973 Rover P5B are have some rust on the chrome and the black enamel is flaking in places. I'm also having to use tubed tyres in order to stay inflated. The time has really come to get the wheels refurbished, but I'm drawing a bit of a blank on finding somewhere to bring them back up into really good condition. Most wheel refurbishers are alloys and diamond cut only - old style wheels have become an interesting anachronism.

It's been suggested to get them blasted, powder coated and then add the black afterwards - it may have to come to this, but if there is a way to keep it fairly original I'd like to pursue this first.

I'm based in the NW - near Preston.

Based in wrexham, owner is a porsche enthusiast, might be worth getting in touch with him?
Best normal refurb I’ve had done was at https://wheelworksbolton.co.uk/ done a brilliant job with a silver painted rim on black wheels instead of the OE diamond cut.
