Stocking fillers - help

My daughter is 3 now, so perhaps it's time to start the stocking tradition.

Having never done this before, and it being about 35 years since I had one, what the hell do you fill them with?

And even more daunting is what do I fill Mrs UTH's with??

For kiddies, small toys, games and puzzles and a few sweeties/chocolate coins etc. Most poundshops will see you right. For the missus, some bath products, gloves, woolly socks, scented candles, wintry hygge type stuff - again, poundshops are your friend.

Oh sorry this is PH, a Shetland Pony for the girl and the keys to a Mini Cooper Convertible for the missus.
