Ketchup is ketchup right? I started using this a few years ago. Problem is, remembering to pick some up. It really is on another level, before you start going all fancy with Bloody Mary flavour this and smoked that. Also, how is it only £1? I’ve been annoying my friends by rattling on about it, so I thought I’d share here and let you all have some…

My brother swears by it over all other ketchups. I didn’t realise it was that cheap so may have to get some.

Nope - very different colours, tastes and consistencies.

M&S ketchup has taken over from Heinz in my family - offspring far prefer it.

I also agree, although rather like the posh Tiptree one!

New one that we've tried, better than Heinz

My kids are Ketchup aficionados, Heinz is default, Stokes is ranked the best but its expensive to use in the quantities my daughter seems to get through.

They've tried Rubies in the Rubble, Hellmans etc but not tried the M&S version, have to give it a go.

This, however, has taken Heinz's normal ketchup's crown.

The 50% sugar version (I think they do an even lower version as well) are disgusting, but this, for some reason, is brilliant.

I was just happy to glean the wife off Heinz as £4.50 for the big bottle at Sainsbury's is an absolute joke even when on Nectar price. I think a lot of it is just what you get used to.

Is that full of those crap sweeteners?

Stokes is awesome but it is indeed quite expensive for those with a ketchup habit... lol

Ketchup has to have sugar in it, otherwise it's sauce. Low sugar tomato ketchup is like low tomato tomato ketchup, it makes no sense.

Whichever Polish brand I can find in the foreign foods aisle is usually my favourite.

Mrs UTH gets through horrific amounts of Kethcup, 99% Heinz.
Is M&S more expensive? Not sure I want to tempt fate and 'treat' her to a bottle to find that's the one she insists on having moving forward.

£1 for a 495ml bottle so significantly cheaper than Heinz. M&S have some great value staple foods tbh - I love their marmalade.

Batts ketchup in Lidl is nicer than Heinz and a third of the price.

Much prefer Stokes to M&S.

The Aldi Bramwells brand is not bad at all for a day to day ketchup IMO

I ditched Heinz for M&S. They are taking the piss with their prices, no wonder Warren Buffett’s so rich!
