992.2 sound system 'womp'

Weirdly at sporadic intervals I have what I can only describe as a 'womp' that comes through the speakers, doesn't matter if its radio, music from phone or phone call

Anyone had anythihg similar?

Its starting to p155 me off so itll have to go in for diagnosis, but useful to know if a common issue

No, definitely not, more like distortion through the speakers

Can anyone tell me what the aural speed alert sounds like?

I think previous poster may be in to something and mine isnt working correctly

It sounds like a "womp". Go into your settings and turn it off, you can program one of the shortcut buttons to turn it off. I've set mine up so that the steering wheel button turns off Stop/start and the centre console one turns off the audible speed warning.
