Bit of a plea for help. I need to borrow a BMW fitment space saver to move my stranded car. Only need to move it about 10m!

I'm based just outside Stroud in Gloucestershire.

The long version is I sold an Audi which spent more time on axle stands that on the road and bought a nice, low miles, FSH BMW for some trouble free motoring. I bought it on Tuesday. Yesterday I replaced all the tyres and as I drove home, a front spring broke and cut the inner wall of the new tyre completely away from the main carcass. Two miles. £70/mile for that tyre. The car is stuck in the middle of my drive, on a slope, so not the place to work on the car safely and so I need a thin wheel to move it back to a safe working spot without the spring ruining that tyre too.

Thanks in advance.

Could you not try moving it with that corner on a trolley jack?

You could always jack the car up & block the suspension up out of the way with a block of wood or similar for the 10m you need to move it.

Appreciate all the problem solving. Hard to explain without pics. Either way, I've bitten the bullet, employed the manliest of man maths and purchased a full set of Bilstein B16s. I'll fit the front right, get the wheel back on with a new tyres, and then move it and do the other corners on the flat.

There was no way it was moving without intervention. I reversed the car 2m and the spring cut the tyre clean into two. That cut goes all the way round.
