Macan boot 12v socket question

2017 Macan 3l petrol 12v boot socket, I'm using it to power a rear dash cam and I'm wondering if it turns off with the ignition or after a short period of time if it still sees a draw on power.

This may be related to my battery charging voltage always being high as if the unit is holding itself on due to the draw from the dash cam.

I had a read through the manual and I cant find anything definitive.

I may set up and indication light plugged into the socket that I can see from the outside of the car to see if it does shut off with a load on it.

The socket in our 2023 Macan needs the ignition to be switched on to make it live.
