Luxury car tax

Trying to find out if I need to pay the luxury car tax on an electric vehicle. The car in question is a mercedes eqc 400 on a 22 plate. Was the tax expert for electric cars? Thanks

"Used EVs registered before April 1, 2025, are not subject to the supplement, but will pay the standard £195 annual VED rate. "

A vehicle check by registration number at the gov website will state if the additional tax is applicable:

In any case as stated above, only after 1/4/25 for EVs.
