Sunday evening dinner in Brentford

Hi All

Have a work meeting in Brentford Monday, staying at the Novotel.

Any recommendations for early evening dinner locations nearby? Anything but seafood, budget £ to ££

You're better served going a bit down the road to Chiswick. Rice Persian Kitchen is good. Iranian, obviously.
Or Torthai, if you like Thai (I don't much, but friends who do say it's great).

Both are reasonably priced.

I live in Chiswick and can vouch for TorThai (although it's the opposite end of Chiswick High Road to where you're coming from), not been to the other suggestion.

Brentford is a bit sparse for decent eateries however there's Sam's Waterside within walking distance but it's more £££ than ££. Otherwise Chiswick has just about everything you could want, I like a little Persian place called Faanoos which is cheap and cheerful but very good (we go regularly after Badminton) and at the right end of the High Road for you.

I was going to recommend Hei Hing in Isleworth, but I checked and they are closed on Sunday + Monday. Very good chinese food.
