So you want a deal that nobody else is getting? And then you want the people who are getting the deal that nobody else is getting to PM you about how to get the deal that nobody else is getting?

Well good luck my man. I hope you get the deal that nobody else is getting.

I think you deserve it.

Why not look at the available cars and phone round a few dealers whilst comparing the new offers to the almost new ?

Surely you have your own spec requirements so asking other people for theirs seems strange to me ....

To answer your question, as with all the other models that they struggled to sell in the past and the motor trade in general on its knees I would have thought a great deal could be done right now.
The problem is they won't want that broadcast so it would have to be a case of go to your nearest dealer and have a face to face.

I can understand coming from Porsche where production numbers are so large that there may be a worthwhile number of deal makers who can brag about their experience ... but if you look at how bespoke the Artura is it's unsurprising that there will not be many who wish to share the deal they did ...

I'm not wishing to be horrid ... but until you are seen as a serious buyer why would anybody offer a deal that may be scattered around to set a precedent that might compromise the market ??

All dealers are struggling ... for those of us who love these cars we will need them looking after, hence we need our McLaren dealers ...

Have you driven one ? What did you think ??

I got about 8% for a car I specified, but there are a number of pre-ordered cars (or were) at dealers where the discounts could be 20%+.

That sounds possible and not far off what is being reported for Porsche ... if you could find the car that you want as a trade-in or ex-demo there are certainly deals to be had. This is particularly interesting since the car from new includes a five year warranty plus the first three annual services ... and McLaren will do the '25 model year firmware update free of charge (which includes the 700bhp power update).

We got there in the end smile
Its a good question because the market is on its knees.
As it was in 1990 and 2008 etc
Good luck if you proceed.

It was a good question and glad someone answers it in a reasonable manner. The OP can now go armed with info that might help them achieve a better deal and a few they want.

Can be an odd place this.

I'm probably the only person that's actually bought a new Artura that they specced themselves in the last year smilesmile

And maybe spec / built and in-stock does make a difference to the available discount ?

Please inform us when you have your answers ...

P.S. What discount did you get on this ?

I thought it was a pretty fair question to ask and the slight hostility unnecessary tbf...

Wasn't that long ago everyone was banging on about discounts or finance deals on the 600LTs which was helpful to a lot of folks on here.

When I am buying for me I always do a lot of research and don't rely on the work of others.

I know what I am looking for, I know when I am likely to set-up the best deal ... and I am prepared to lose a deal if it's not right. A lot of the fun is in the process of finding "exactly what one wants" at "exactly the price one wishes to pay" with the support required to ensure a long and enjoyable ownership.

If you check back on the profile of RS Guy you will find that he is continually taking delivery of a series of "halo" cars ... so he is obviously well connected at Porsche. As for his interest in McLaren ... I hope that he becomes similarly well connected and therefore feels in a position at some stage to contribute to the brand in some way. But asking for "best" deals off the bat seems unrealistic to me for all the reasons.

Spec / timing / cash or finance / to keep or re-sell / etc ...

Apologies for being somewhat cynical ....
