You don't have to be trade, I have ordered a few bits from them and been happy with the service.

No, no (i think) and yes, really good. Recently priced up some stuff at B&Q, Screwfix was almost 50% of the price, including the packing & handling charge.

Excellent company to deal with.

On-line ordering is excellent - receive confirmation very shortly after ordering and goods usually arrive the next day.

We have done a bit of work for Screwfix and was having a chat with one of their buyers and I commented that their prices were very competitive.

He said that if there is a company selling the same or equivalent product anywhere cheaper they are making a loss on it.

Bought loads of stuff recently and never found them anything other than excellent.

Thanks folks, I'll give them a go.

I quickly tried deleting my post as I had mis-spelt screwfix but you were all way too fast for me

Thanks.

Worth taking a look at www.Toolstation.com .
It is run by the family that started Screwfix from their garden shed, then sold it to B&Q for millions. They pretty much immediately set up an identical retailer that undercuts Screwfix on most products!!!

Screwfix/Toolstation, Yeovil's only tourist attraction!
