I miss the heady days of the Royal Ag show at what was once the home of Ag….

Be a good day out that I think.

We have a yearly show just like that (minus the celebs) near town as there's an agricultural university nearby, and loads of farms..

It's a cracking day out, to be fair

Did anyone go? Any good?

Social media reports suggest sky high entrance ticket prices, low attendance and expensive stands.

The other half and myself were planning to go, but finances have been a little tight this year and elected to go to the Rutland County show instead for a 3rd of the price. We still intend to go to FarmFest at some point, possibly next year, but when we're in a position to do all 3 days as we felt it looked like the kind of thing where its too big to just go for one day (much like the sadly now dead Silverstone Festival). I'd be interested to see how it went though. Hope it was as good as it looked.
