Some people have more money than...pockets.

I wonder if you can use it to store your £699 Mac Pro Wheels in?

Is this funnier than the Jaguar rebrand or not? Can't really decide.

I will of course be waiting for these to show up on AliExpress so I can re-sell (or dropship...dun dun duh!) them at a massively inflated value as an exclusive deal not seen outside of China. Maybe I'll throw in a Labubu as well just to entice everyone in.

Back in the 90's a friend used to keep his Nokia wrapped in a sock to stop it getting scratched.

Nothing new in this world.

Love the way its apparently justified due to it being Issey Miyake inspired, they probably sat there on their lunch break and whilst halfway through a BLT said 'cut a hole in a sock and bung it in there'

£220 please

A fool and his money.... anyone wearing these will look like a tt.

They are also going to be a dream come true for the urban e-bike phone thieves.

£220 for an Apple phone holder = completely ridiculous
£220 for an exclusive bag from a renowned design house = perfectly reasonable

These aren't aimed at the hoi polloi, they're for the sort of person who thinks £3000 for a handbag is good value. And in that context they're a bargain.

I remember a chap in the early 1990s who turned up with his Motorola whatever phone in a gun-holster-eaque phone holder.

I can imagine the same urine extracting will occur for whomever snaps one of these up.

I say this as an iPhone user for the last 18 years.

This is completely ridiculous and pricing gouging on a whole new level.

Send the meteorite and send it now.

There will be Apple headcases, overly wealthy, and various other tiny segments of buyers out there that will buy one because money is no object.
They wont sell many, but its cost Apple sweet fa to design and produce, its not like its taken devoted software or hardware engineering time, just some intern at Issey Miyake having a stab as a fun project.

Reading this bit off the Apple site does make it sound like a joke:

“Inspired by the concept of “a piece of cloth,””

But no, it’s real.

I think you are being very generous to say an intern was responsible for this one, any self respecting intern would have just said no, hell no!
