Tourists 'paid £70,000 to shoot innocent people in "human safari" hunting trips to Sarajevo - with extra charged to kill children
Is this real? If so there are some unbelievably sick ccensoredts in the world. If any are caught and found guilty I hope the spend the rest of thier lives in the pokey. I suspect any case will be difficult to prove as it happened 30+ years ago.

30 years ago this was a Van Dam film, Hard Target!

It's plain evil. Hopefully there are files detailing who did what. I'm on the fence whether this should be a "take them to court" or a post-WW2 "Mossad hunting the Nazis" exercise, except with Bosniaks doing the hunting.

However if it's anything like another set of files then perhaps nothing will come of it.

Just read this.

You'd consider it a bit far fetched in a distopian thriller.

That whole war was so horrendously brutal.

One of the most moving places i've been to is Mostar - the War And Genocide Victims museum is just.... awful, so moving but also so shocking in it's display of how twistedly evil humans can be towards fellow mankind - and all the while the rest of the world just watched by.

I think the most shocking bit is also how recent is all was - and that we just stood by and in the main, let it happen.

The level of depravity that humans are capable of lowering themselves to is very disturbing, what a God forsaken species we are, I really hope they catch them and bring them to justice.

That's a little unfair... ~150 UN peace keepers were killed in Bosnia. A big chunk of those were Brits too I seem to remember.

I did read that pirate ‘experience’ is a thing now.

Go on a boat, sail through likely ‘pirate’ places. Shoot at pirates.

Sadly nothing about this surprises me.

It's funny how the phrase 'humane' is used for the ethical treatment of other living things, based on our track record as a species torturing a dog for instance is on brand.

There is a small percentage of people who are very very nasty indeed. I have met a couple, they had never acted on it as far as I know, but you can see the way they flare when they lose their temper, or the coldness that they have to others, that there is something fundamental not connected upstairs.

Our job as a society is to promote better behaviours, and our job as partners and parents is to keep our loved ones away from such people.
