Electronic drums - what sound module?

Hopefully there will be at least a couple of drummer with e-drums on here...
I have a Roland TD27KV2 - great piece of kit with decent sounds and the capability to import other sounds however it has a limited number of pad/trigger inputs which I have now exhausted so I have bought an eDrumin - trigger to MIDI interface - for the additional pads I have.
The problem I have is that the sounds in the TD27KV2 module are not MIDI-addressable unless they are already assigned to a pad/input, therefore I cannot take advantage of "unused" TD27KV2 sounds with the eDrumin.
I have been using an old Korg TR Rack for some odd percussion sounds triggered with the eDrumin but that is a really old module now and its sounds are not comparable to those in the Roland module.
My question... I would like a modern module (preferably 19" rack mount but I'm not excluding any other) that sounds good out of the box, is MIDI addressable, and can accept downloaded sounds from the internet. I don't need a sampler because I wouldn't create my own sounds but if that's the answer, then what is your recommendation (and does it come pre-loaded with drum sounds)?
