Purchase advice

I've been looking for an Evora gt sport 410 but not had much look so have widened the search to Emira.
There is almost too much info online and its hard to find the good news bits.
I have seen a car I like the look of qt an actual lotus dealer, its a 23 plate with under 8k on it, obviously some sort of buy back.
A quick chat to the dealer confirms it had door paint issues and tailgate paint issues too but all have already been replaced, its also had the front wiring recall for water ingress.
What I would like to know, is there anything else I should be checking or asking about, am I crazy buying one with so a lot of uncertainty and minimal warranty and if I do go ahead what qt these actually dealing at price wise as there are quite a few for sale so I imagine some sort of deal can be done? Its a manual V6.
The other question is am I better off to just wait for an Evora?
Any advice welcome, thanks

I would also consider posting your question on the Emira forum, there seems to be more UK owners on there than here
