Worth going to European Track days in the winter months?
Discussion
If you don’t like the wet, trackdaying is as very seasonal hobby, here or in northern europe.
We ran two days at Magny Cours in August, middle of France, in the middle of summer. It pissed down for one and a half of those days
. The circuit staff thought it was terrible but we had a great time
.
I guess what I’m saying is get the right tyres and the right training and go and enjoy it!

Theoretically, according to Google Amsterdam climate, February is the second driest month of the year (driest month is april)
So go for it!
But to be honest, any European trackday could rain any time of year. The only time I'd say you were guaranteed sun is southern Spain and Portugal. Anywhere else is a gamble.
I'd just brush up on my wet weather driving skills so if it does rain, you can still go out and enjoy it.
