First post! A friend said I should post here. Looking for a toy car for 2 adults and 2 small children.

I’ve found the below which looks lovely but I can’t work out if it’s expensive for a 2018 car? Will the colour make resale painful? I do like it!

ETA, I can’t put links in as I’ve just jointed

It’s Porsche finder stock number 0807O4

This one. I've got a thing for orange cars so a big thumbs up from me!

595 has linked above too.

Doesn't look like a crazy price to me.

Nicely specced, and being a Targa there's some "Targa Tax" to add when comparing to other GTS 4s models.

That’s the right one.

I think it’s having new turbos fitted, is this a known weak point on these?

Personally I love the Targa, a good friend has a 992 GTS targa, and I love orange cars (my daily driver is orange!) But I don't think the colour suits the Targa, it will certainly be rare though.

Its all subjective, personally I like the Targa in Gentian, dark metallic grey, or depending on my mood, Riviera

Agree Orange is not for the Targa, this one might look better with Black calipers and black roof over alumimium. Yes Turbo’s going on 991.2 is a thing, do not buy without Porsche Warranty on it, think you can go to 15 years from new date. Plenty of forums here on the Turbo issues.

I think the turbo issue would worry me. My friends 992 targa spends more time in the dealer workshop than my 24 year old Ferrari 360 so reliability would be a worry for me, and Turbo's a big one

Not a fan of that colour.

I quite like it apart from the red calipers, should have specc'd black and likewise the interior the orange accents just clash with the GTS red accents.

As the owner of a Gulf orange Boxster, I'd say don't let the colour put you off. It will attract a LOT of attention (people photograph my car as if it were a supercar all over the place, especially in London). And you will find lots of other Porsche owners choose bright colours. I've also had a few dealers and private buyers ask me if I'd like to sell it to them, so on that basis I wouldn't worry about difficulty reselling!

Gratuitous photo on the Furka pass during my 10,000km road trip through the alps and down to the south of Italy this summer...

Orange is the only colour people should consider buying a car in (Albeit this one is Lava)

I’ve seen this very car in the metal, it was the colour that pulled me in to take a closer look.

I see it’s listed as PTS: ‘Pastel Orange’, I thought it looked much like the 997.1 RS orange?

Anyway, I thought it looked fantastic and a lovely, vibrant choice for a summer, targa car.

I like the alloy roll hoop and orange elements. I do think the seat belts need changing though.

I’m slightly in love with the colour, it just looks ‘fun’.

No way that is Lava Orange or your camera is up the swanny. That s Guards Red, I had a Lava/Salmon Orange GT3 RS looks nothing like that Red. Sold it because that Lava was awful when the sun was on it. In the showroom and Grey days looked good, forums said Salmon and after being in denial I did see their point of view. There are some nice Oranges but for me Lava is not one of them.

Some cameras are rubbish with orange. In some lights the camera on my iphone makes my orange car look red, in other lights it looks orange.

I remember when the 991 RS was launched and I looked at it while in hospital on my phone - I was convinced it was guards. Only figured it out when I looked at the pic again on a different screen.
