I'm looking for a used record player to play some old 33,45 and 78 rpm records, I dont need anything fancy but a fairly decent one with preferably a build in tuner as well

im open to used ones as a mate of mine bought a used Steepletone and its doing good service

I'd say definitely don't buy the one Super Sonic suggested, yes it will work but it's basically the cheapest possible plastic turntable in a nice case. It probably has a sapphire stylus too. If you want the authentic experience of listening to a record in the 1960s on a cheap worn out ceramic cartridge player that sounds dreadful and wears out your records it's good

You'd be better off buying something like this a used refurbished music centre from the 1970s or 80s. It'll cost the same, sound better and probably last longer too.

Bear in mind that 78s will need a different needle than your LPs and 45s, and ideally a special cartridge too.

That one's only two speed.

You want to look for an old radiogram with something like the good old Garrard SP25 in it that will go to 78rpm, like this but with a tuner added

Goodmans along with plenty of others used to make radiograms like this, it's just a case of finding one. Or buy the turntable separately and plug it into a receiver.

Quite right, I must have missed it.

Either way there's a world of choice out there, almost anything vintage post-60s will be better than a new affordable three-speed
