Aston Martin Rapide S "plopping noise" from dash

Hello all,
Second topic I am trying to get clarity on with my new car is a "plopping noise" coming from the dash.
It's a 2015 Rapide S. The noise is very regular. I'd say about every 5 seconds. Mainly noticable at very low speed or when stopping. I think I locate it from the center of the dash.
My guessing is that it's a flap of the A/C that lost its position and keeps turning all the time. But no matter which A/C function I tried (manual, different air distributions, Auto, AUC), nothing is changing it.
My next step would be a dealer visit to get the error codes read out.
But today someone previously test driving a Virage told me, he heard the same and that it's "normal"...?
Any V12 owners with potentially the same AC unit have similar experience?
