In between cars at the moment whilst I decide on something nice to buy. Any recommendations on a sub £5k motor with a nice quality interior? Not really fussed if petrol or diesel as I won’t be doing many miles the next few months. Looked at 2002 on SL, D2 and D3 audi A8, E63/E64 bmw 6. Ideally something reliable too… any suggestions?

A big Audi or something from Lexus I'd suggest...

From my own experience a CLS interior is a really nice place to be and you'd likely get a CLS500 for under £5k.

The W221 S Class is doable at that budget too, interior is really lovely but could be expensive to run but you'd be hard pushed to beat the interior at least.

Assuming no other factors, purely a nice interior, a Range Rover?

Lexus GS300. There isn't a part of the interior that you could hit with your fist and it wouldn't make a dull thud sound. Same as the IS250.

You mean if it never needed to work?
