Front suspension rubber bushes and hardware shopping list

After the MOT this year, the MOT guy said the bushes were not great, due to oil starting to degrade them.

So on with the winter to do list, that is very long.

I am not after poly bushes, just standard rubber.
I have stumbled around a bit trying to identify (see picture) what is what and what cars to look at, not really getting anywhere fast.
Seems as time goes on these bits are rarer and rarer.

Any pointers as to what car/s may be used here would be good or places that do not break the bank that have the rubbers and hardware.

The upper and lower arms and the tie rod bushes are all ex-Cortina.
Originals for the arms were by Boge but you'll do well to find those nowadays (and if you do they're probably 40 years old).

You can get the arm bushes as pattern parts, I replaced mine a few years ago although I wasn't convinced the Boge ones were actually that bad - put another way, I didn't think the pattern ones were that good grumpy
The tie rod bushes were originally two different densities of rubber and were supposed to be installed in a particular order (for compression and rebound I think); the polybush purveyors conveniently overlook this.

The drop-link bushes used to be hard to come by; the only time I ever used poly they were the ones I replaced but they very quickly distorted under load and I've never bothered changing them since.

Have a look on here...you may not find the top and bottom wishbone bushes on their site but maybe on the Motomobil...

Burton Power list some Cortina suspension bits (though a lot are polyurethane).

The front lower bush 2 off per car, TVR 025C050A (Ford 6009967) EM 1487 and the 4 off per car, top bushes TVR 025C049A (Ford 6009975) EM1486. (are current numbers as I am collecting bushes myself, and just about to source rear bushes).

The rear tierod front bush was always the tricky one, I spent a while on the phone to AVM (Trelleborg) a few years ago and it was the only one they couldn't supply (at the time). Some of the others were run-out stock only so may well all be gone by now.
I ended up buying some that were longer then required and shortening them in the lathe - I think that was the A-frames and maybe the diff lower mounts, I forget now.

I picked up the info from yourself and Neil Russell and it looks as if I will end up machining them, (it looks like a Reliant bush might be OE size, I just cannot justify the purchase price, per bush). A@

I seem to recall a Reliant bush appearing in my notes, not necessarily from the Scimitar, might have been the 3-legger biggrin

I think the ones I used most of were numbered B636/7 or similar, but they were runout stock so may well have all been sold now. AVM used to have a downloadable list on their website and you could see from the gaps that there used to be a whole lot more combinations of ID, OD and length - but no longer available.

I did identify a potential alternative that would have meant swapping the bolts for Metric sizes; the OD was the next whole millimetre up I think so would have needed turning down which is obviously trickier to achieve while maintaining press-fit and cylindricity. Concentricity wouldn't matter quite as much as long as the walls were parallel.

There used to be a brand of car body filler called Bodge.
Still don't know if that's where the term 'a bodge job' comes from, or if 'bodge job' is just a corruption of 'botched job', or if the second led to the first confusednerdsilly
