I like to watch the game on tv, but no expert.

How long has it been ok to grab the goalkeeper on corners so they can't move properly to get to the ball, and then move away like nothing has happened?

Probably the same amount of time that defenders are allowed to hold attackers and nothing is given.

Donnaruma needed to be stronger.

Probably for as long as the keeper’s been able to give any opposition player within a couple of yards a hefty two handed shove so they don’t stand so close. Jens Lehmann used to virtually use WWE moves on opponents yet never received so much as a talking to.

Biased as my young lad's a keeper, but it's now infiltrating the junior game (he's U14s) and it's all a bit of a joke now that ends up in lots of pushing and shoving, defenders getting between keeper and attacker which extends the pushing and shoving.

Needs stopping IMO.

Agree although it is far too entrenched in the game now. Sometimes more like rugby!

Refs and the rule makers have too lenient and apart from changing the rules and issuing guidance to refs, then it will continue.

My suggestion as one who has watched football live for 55 years is that there should be a warning and then the next player who tugs, holds or obstructs is booked and if then a red card - that would soon stop it!

Won’t happen though.

Obstruction of any player is still a free kick but they call it the forgotten rule because no ref has blown up for it for years.

There’s been some ridiculous decisions where the keeper has clearly been impeded , but as an overall consideration they have started to allow some physical contact back into the game which is a good thing ,we had the game heading towards a non contact sport .

Funnily enough the shoulder charge is still legal.
