We've had the house re-roofed (new membrane, battens and tiles) and they have installed GRP valley trays where previously we had lead valleys.
The extension roof (on the right of the valley in the photo) extends down below the roof of the main house and the soffits of the main house stop short of this slope. This has resulted in the valley tray appearing un-supported at this location and similarly the end tile in particular is hanging in mid-air.

This is actually the repair after I raised my concerns; previously it was an open hole into the loft.
Had this been installed correctly and is it OK for the front most tile to be partially unsupported? If not, what regulation or installation method has not been complied with that I can quote?
Thanks for any help.

OK that's slightly reassuring as I thought the tile should be supported at the front corner.
I'm not sure where the lead goes as I'd have to walk on the roof to see anything but at least we can't see daylight when in the loft.
We had a horrendous leak here just before the tiles went on, it was fully membraned and battened. Water was literally running down the wall where the extension meets the main house. Right into our built in wardrobe and so every piece of clothing we own was drenched and the carpet and underlay are currently in the tip. It continued to run down the wall into the living room downstairs, which now needs repainting. Joy.
