Infotainment screen brightness
Discussion
I had to drive my GT last night in the dark
it was the first time that I have actually done this since buying the car in May. I use carplay for displaying Waze as my satnav of choice and found that the info screen brightness was a real distraction. Is there anyway of reducing the brilliance? I've looked through the PDF manual and couldn't see any information on this so I'm assuming not.

So reducing the brightness was the first thing I did after taking the car from the dealer. I remember reducing brightness for the dashboard and the multimedia screen.
I never used my phone for navigation. So, I don't know if phone connectivity somehow overrides brightness setting. What I remember it was somewhere in the settings menu. If not on the settings of the multimedia screen check the settings menu on the dashboard.

Thanks, I also have very sensitive eyes as I had interocular lens replacement surgery a couple of years ago. I did have a play with the dashboard settings but that just changes the dash illumination. I'll have a play and see if I can find anything.I never used my phone for navigation. So, I don't know if phone connectivity somehow overrides brightness setting. Update
It was in the settings menu. Set to 75% default reduced to 50% and we see how that goes.

I’ve had my car for over 3 years and it was second hand when I bought it.
When I first drove it in the dark I cursed as I thought there was a problem with the centre screen between the speedo and tachometer.
It looked like some of the pixels had failed on the display but when I looked carefully I realised that the pixels were going from blue to white in a random fashion. Obviously it was the stars twinkling!
Only works when the lights are on of course.
