Our existing flat screen 50" is 10yrs old so anything is an improvement I guess.

Edge lit LCD, so may be quite similar to your current one.

If an LG B series OLED is twice as much, it will be worth it

It's very old stock of what was an attempt at a budget offering from Loewe; watch out if looking at reviews as this is the earlier generation LED backlit model, not the OLED.

RS seem to have this stock for a while as it pops up every so often.

I suspect there will be a decent deal on one of the entry level LG 55 OLEDs around Black Friday that will be the better picture.
