"A migrant deported to France as part of the one in, one out scheme has returned to the UK on a small boat "

"The man, who wants to claim asylum in the UK, is being held in an immigration detention centre. It is understood that the Home Office will seek to remove him again swiftly. "

Bet he wouldn't have returned so fast from Rwanda.

Does that mean we need to send back the one we got when he left? Or do we just get an extra one now? hehe

does anyone know the going rate?
Obviously it would be highly embarrassing if he used the governments money (£2k I believe)
If it costs more then where is the money coming from?

What a surprise. Hands up anyone who failed to see that coming (apart from the Prime Minister, obviously).

I wonder if the traffickers promise them a free crossing if they're booted out.

Would negate the 1 in 1 out threat.

Probably used the £2k he was sent back to France with

Media reporting he feared torture in France is getting rediculous now

Remember Mr T said Reforms policy of deport to country of origin or detain wasn't good - and instead we should carry on paying for them to live in hotels and 'process' them.

Here's an example of one 'processed' and sent next door to France.

Straight back over lol

They don't care. The higher the UK population the more they can borrow and / or potential tax take increases. They will continue to say one thing and do another.

So he wasted his won money getting back here, we detained him and are sending him back. What's the problem exactly?

Because when we sent him back the first time (and possible every time?), we received another one in exchange. Hence the 'on-in' element. Absolute farce.

For two; that it doesn't seem to be a deterrent, and we're undoubtedly not catching them all.

They're also being offered free trips after paying for the first one so they're probably not out of pocket.

I must be mistaken...I thought the one in, one out was a prison inmate scheme?
I mean...if it isn't, it's certainly more effective!
