Parts delay from Ferrari Factory

Has anyone else experienced extended delays on parts from the factory?

I have been waiting since May for a BCM, the car has been off the road since then and I’ve had two updates dates from Ferrari, both of which have come and gone with no part.

The dealer tells me there are delays at the moment and they only have a portal to communicate with the factory. It’s getting beyond ridiculous now and am hoping to find a solution.

You need to ask your dealer what the delay is. It could be that they have stock but are dragging their feet on releasing it. Or they could have no stock and it is Back Order (replacements have been ordered from their supplier). Or it could be they have no stock and no way (or intention) or re-ordering.

Depending on the problem with the BCM, I would be looking for a used unit and cloning the data over from the old one for now,

Endemic industry issues, just gave a modern / current model Aston back as it was supplied with a damaged bumper and there’s supplier has gone bust / the tooling hasn’t been recovered / there’s no eta for selection of a supplier or for production to recommence….
